 Ready to use in one easy step
 Thanks to its unique folding mechanism, the Petromax Atago is ready to use in a single step. And it folds up just as quickly. At only 15 cm high when folded, it stores neatly and takes up minimal space.

 Heat efficiently with the "chimney effect "
 The Atago's highly sophisticated construction allows for optimal use of the chimney effect. Thanks to the continuously adjustable air intake, the temperature can be regulated as desired, and the maximum opening ensures exceptionally rapid heat-up. Furthermore, the round openings in the material provide optimal ventilation.

 Unique two-cylinder construction
 Thanks to its double-walled construction, the Petromax Atago not only catches the eye, but retains heat so effectively inside that the outer cylinder hardly heats up, even during prolonged use.

 Numerous possibilities
 To light it, you can use charcoal, charcoal briquettes, and firewood. The Atago offers the following three operating modes:

 ...like a barbecue
 The Petromax Atago can be used in the traditional way as a barbecue, fueled by charcoal or briquettes. A suitable barbecue grill is included.

 ...like an oven or stove
 The Petromax Atago can also be used with a Dutch oven or a wok. Simply place the cast iron pot (for example, the Petromax ft3, ft6, or ft9) on the glowing briquettes inside the Petromax Atago. The Atago surrounds the pot, ensuring optimal heat efficiency in combination with the cast iron pot. The wok, on the other hand, is placed directly on top of the Petromax Atago's round opening. The Atago can also be converted into a convection oven: with the optional convection dome, you can even prepare pizzas.
 ...like a fire pit

 After using the Petromax Atago to prepare the meal, it's now possible to light a pleasant campfire for the evening directly in the Atago. Thanks to its round shape, firewood and kindling are particularly easy to stack in a pyramid shape.
